EvenUS measures how a household's money, time and unpaid work are shared, and suggests one thing a week that might help. That is all it does, and this page is about the things it deliberately is not.

It is not financial advice

EvenUS records what you tell it and does arithmetic on it. It does not advise you on budgeting, debt, savings, investment, tax or insurance, and nothing it shows should be read as a recommendation to do or not do any of those.

It is not a bank, a lender, a broker, an adviser or a payment service. It never holds, moves or transfers money. "Settle up" records that a transfer happened between the two of you. You make the actual transfer yourselves, however you already do.

EvenUS is not regulated as a financial institution in any jurisdiction, and does not hold itself out as one. For advice about your own finances, speak to someone qualified in your country.

It is not therapy, counselling or a medical service

EvenUS is a household tool. It is not couples counselling, not mediation, not mental-health treatment, and no clinician reviews anything you put into it.

If a conversation at home has stopped being safe, this app is the wrong thing.

No score, chart or weekly suggestion is a substitute for a counsellor, a doctor, or a domestic-abuse service. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

The numbers are a starting point, not a verdict

Every figure in EvenUS comes from what the two of you enter. Estimates of how long a task takes are estimates. A week nobody had time to log looks like a week nobody did anything.

The app is built to be honest about this, flagging thin data rather than scoring it confidently, but a number on a screen is only ever a reason to talk, not a finding about a person. EvenUS does not decide who is right. Where the two of you disagree, it shows the disagreement; it does not resolve it.

No guarantee of a result

We do not promise EvenUS will reduce arguments, improve a relationship, or change how anything is shared in your home. It is a tool. What happens after it tells you something is between the two of you.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data you enter will never be lost, so keep your own record of anything that matters. See the Terms of use for the full position.
